Minutes Of Forum Meeting Jan 2008 : Minutes Jan 2008

Message

Having undergone major surgery and a consequential heart attack Julian Foster has now been discharged from the N&N University Hospital and is recuperating at home. He is still unable to walk and is not expected to be mobile again for some time. However, he expects, after some convalescence, to return to his many commitments with the Citizens' Forum, the Norwich City Centre Licensing Forum, the City Centre Management Partnership and the SNAP but asks that colleagues and partners have patience to allow him to fully recover before taking up his duties again.

Julian is especially eager to thank all those very many friends, colleagues and partners who sent good wishes, cards and gifts with messages of support during his illness. Particularly is he grateful to the many Police officers at both Bethel Street and Vantage House, together with so many city centre licensees who have gone out of their way to show support during this difficult time for which he is most appreciative. Thank you all. Especially, perhaps, his undying thanks are due to those two Police officers who were requested to kick his door down and saved his life.
