About the 'NCCLF' Forum

Norwich City Centre Licensing Forum was established late in 2004 prior to licensing reform. It is one of the first such organisations in the country, linking not only licensees and statutory authorities but key businesses who have a fundamental role within the leisure experience of Norwich city centre as well as residents who live and are inevitably affected by how the night-time economy is conducted.

As a Forum we are keen to extend the hand of partnership to the resident community within the city that can be affected by the operation of our businesses.

NCCLF meetings take place in the Council Chamber (or one of the Committee Rooms) at City Hall (by kind permission of Norwich City Council) and provide opportunities to work together, to resolve issues where they arise by joint action taken by our industry and the community working together and in collaboration and harmony.

It is vital that we grasp this opportunity to demonstrate a proactive approach to problem solving and exemplify our clear commitment to uphold public safety within Norwich city centre which is bounded, for us, by the old city walls, the River Wensum but include the Riverside Leisure Area.

The NCCLF Web site is now interactive, if you have any issues that you would like to raise or indeed if you would like to pass on comments, please e-mail your requests to
